Summer Floral Dress and Pom Pom Earrings
Happy Friday, folks! Not only is National Donut Day today (yep, you heard me right), but today marks two weeks until I get to see my family! Also, three weeks until I get to go to the beach - hallelujah! So I am officially a happy, albeit busy, girl.
Unfortunately, when we went to shoot the other day, my camera failed to turn on. Not sure if this is just a little glitch and the battery crapped out, or what. Either way, hopefully we can figure it out, because if we can't, you guys are going to have to look at crappy iPhone photos for a minute. Sad face.
The point of that explanation was to apologize for the sub-par quality of the photos you're seeing on this post. Cross your fingers that we get the camera working soon!

Anyway, last week I talked about two summer staples: denim cutoffs and flip flops. So this week I thought I'd go over one of my other favorites for summer - a great sun dress. I posted on Wednesday about my favorite summer dresses for moms, so be sure to check those out as well.
My favorite thing about the dress that I'm wearing here is that I can wear a regular bra with it as opposed to a strapless one. Because really, who the f**k wants to wear a strapless bra in summer? I love an off-the-shoulder top as much as the next gal, but they're not exactly practical/comfortable when it comes to undergarments.
Unfortunately they are sold out of this sweet little floral print at Old Navy, but they just got the same style in a chambray that is equally adorable.
For shoes, I went with these block heels to elevate the look a little.
If you missed it, I posted on Instagram (if you're not following me, do it nowwww!) about these adorable pink pom pom earrings that are ONLY EIGHT FREAKING DOLLARS at Target, so you should go get them now! They also come in cobalt blue, as well as black, and I'm thinking about getting those too, since they are so ridiculously cute and affordable, so why not own them in every damn color?
Anyway, that's about it for today's post. I'll have some packing tips for you next week, so cross your fingers that I actually stick to my own advice and don't overpack for our trip!
