Fall Capsule Wardrobe Outfit Ideas

Happy Wednesday, guys! This is the last post of September, so I’m wrapping up my fall fashion series with some outfit ideas based on last week’s must-haves. If you haven’t checked out that post yet, go do it now! If you’re in a hurry, here’s a grid layout of all the different items I included in last week’s post. It’s ready to be pinned for your convenience!

In addition to last week’s 14 items, I’m going to add three basic items that you should already have in your closet. They are:

A plain white tee-shirt (I like this relaxed fit one from H&M)
A dressy black camisole (I like this satin and lace one from H&M)
A black handbag (I think this slouchy bucket bag goes really well with all the items)

Now, for some of the dressier looks, you might of course want to use a clutch instead of a bigger bag, but I was trying to challenge myself here, so I wanted to just pick one bag. You could also use a black or gray tee in many of the looks if you don’t have a white one. Or change the color of the camisole depending on your preference. But use what you have!

Also, I narrowed this post down to 20 outfits, but you could stretch it and get more, if you wanted. I’ve broken these up into four categories. Each outfit photo is labeled with one of the four categories, which are:

Errands (super casual)
Semi-Casual
Casual Date (or afternoon with the girls)
Night Out

As a reminder, the capsule wardrobe from last week’s post was designed for busy moms, so most of these outfits are still going to be fairly functional if you have kids with you. So without further ado, let’s get you some fall outfit inspiration!
